We are Flip Out Productions, Philly’s favorite place to cartwheel, connect, and celebrate. Located on Frankford Avenue, our three-level gymnastics facility is home to athletes of all ages and abilities, from tiny tumblers taking their very first class to adults who showed up a little nervous and never wanted to leave. We believe that gymnastics is for everybody, and we have spent years building a community that proves it.
From a yoga studio to 3 floors of fun
Flip Out Productions started the way the best things do: with passion and no blueprint. In 2013, founder Katie launched Flip Out out of a yoga studio while she was pregnant with her daughter, running classes as a hobby and building something she loved. From there, the journey took her through Fishtown Recreation Center and into Sharktown Event Spaces, where Flip Out ran as a setup and breakdown operation three days a week, sharing space and making it work.
By 2016 the community was growing faster than the space could keep up. In 2017 Katie found a two-level, 5,000-square-foot facility and got to work renovating it into a real home for Flip Out. Then came 2020. While the city shut down around them, the Flip Out team met with architects and built up, literally, adding a staircase to a third level and bringing the facility to the 7,200 square feet it is today. What started as a hobby in a borrowed room is now one of Northeast Philadelphia's most beloved gymnastics communities. And we are just getting started.

Inside our 7,200-square-foot center you will find everything from uneven bars and spring floors to a trampoline, a Tumbl Trak, and balance beams, all designed to help you move, grow, and surprise yourself. Step outside and you will discover The Flippin' Garden and The Courtyard, spaces where our community gathers, celebrates, and makes memories that go way beyond the gym floor.

Three Floors of Fun: Our 7,200-square-foot center is packed with uneven bars, spring floors, trampolines, a Tumbl Trak, balance beams, and more, built for every age and skill level.

The Flippin' Garden & Courtyard: Our outdoor community play garden and private courtyard are right on site, a perfect spot for siblings, parents, and fresh air between flips.

Free Parking (yes, really): No circling the block. Free on-site parking means one less thing to think about on the way in.

Birthday Parties Worth Flipping For: Flip Out birthday parties are a 90-minute experience packed with warm-ups, music, 60 minutes of gymnastics, and 30 minutes of party activities. Our coaches handle setup, serving, and cleanup while you enjoy every minute.

Outdoor Party Upgrades: Take the celebration outside. Our private courtyard and Flippin' Garden are available for birthday parties and special events, perfect for active, open-air fun.
