Tumbling vs. Gymnastics: What's the Difference?

Gymnastics is a broad sport covering a wide range of apparatus and disciplines, including bars, beam, vault, floor, and more. Tumbling is a specific discipline within gymnastics that focuses entirely on floor-based acrobatic skills, think cartwheels, round-offs, back handsprings, and flips. While all tumblers train gymnastics fundamentals, tumbling classes offer a more focused experience for athletes who want to zero in on explosive, high-energy floor skills. At Flip Out, both pathways are built on the same core values: proper technique, smart progressions, and a whole lot of fun.

With expert coaching and a supportive environment, every class is a step toward something bigger.​
