Every'body' can Flip Out
We are Flip Out Productions, a Philadelphia gymnastics academy where kids, families, athletes, and coaches come to move, learn, connect, and celebrate. Located on Frankford Avenue in Philadelphia, our three-level gymnastics facility welcomes every age and stage—from little ones taking their first steps and preschoolers discovering gymnastics to recreational and competitive athletes chasing new skills, campers and parkour athletes looking for adventure, and adults rediscovering the joy of movement.
Flip Out offers early childhood and preschool gymnastics, recreational gymnastics, competitive gymnastics, tumbling, parkour, adult gymnastics, gymnastics camps, birthday parties and special events, school programs, community partnerships, and The Flippin’ Garden. Whether you’re searching for your child’s first gymnastics class in Philadelphia, a place to grow as a competitive athlete, an unforgettable summer camp, or simply a community where your family can belong, there’s a place for you at Flip Out.
We believe gymnastics is for every‘body’—and for more than a decade, we’ve been building a community that proves it.
Built 1 flip at a time
Founded in 2013, Flip Out Productions began with a big idea and a small footprint. What started in a local Philadelphia recreation center grew into a shared creative space and ultimately into our permanent, three-level home at 2757 Frankford Avenue in Philadelphia.
Today, Flip Out is much more than a gymnastics gym. Across every program, our mission is to develop strong minds, strong hearts, and strong bodies. Through gymnastics, parkour, camps, events, and community programming, we help young people build confidence, discipline, resilience, independence, friendships, and a lifelong love of movement.
From first steps to first jobs
Growing up at Flip Out can mean much more than progressing from one gymnastics level to the next. Through our Future Leaders program, athletes can begin developing leadership and workplace skills as young as 11 by assisting with classes, participating in special projects, completing staff training, and working toward industry certifications.
As they become eligible for employment, many of these young people make the transition from athlete to assistant, mentor, coach, and first-time employee. It’s one of the ways Flip Out extends our impact beyond gymnastics—creating a place where young people can quite literally grow up.
Growing beyond the gym
Our camps and community programs bring the Flip Out experience beyond traditional gymnastics. Through school and community partnerships, Spanish-language enrichment, special events, and hands-on learning, we create opportunities for kids to discover new interests while building confidence and connection.
That includes The Flippin’ Garden, our on-site community garden founded in 2023. The garden gives children opportunities to dig, plant, create, problem-solve, and learn about healthy living, environmental stewardship, teamwork, and responsibility.
